There must be something wrong with me because I really want this.

To be fair, it’s the most calzone looking automotive instrument you might ever have.

Nope. Most if not all lust and paraphilias related to ‘35 Ford truck cabs are natural.

Or at least I’m going to say they are.

Thats a rough cab and there is not much in the way of patch panels for those cabs, would be alot of scratch panel work and good luck with the doors. If the doors are too far gone, you can easily spend more than double what you paid for useable doors. Its like that with the 32-34 Ford pickups I am used to messing with. They just started repopping doors but a pair will set you back over 2 grand.

Desire seems like the appropriate reaction to me. Other than finding an appropriate grille shell it could probably be built relatively inexpensively.

300 I-6 and five speed from an 80’s truck, mustang front clip, trailer fenders and homemade wood bed on back, glass is all flat so it would be reasonable, few hundred other parts, and you’re good to go

Thought processes like this are why I’d be living in a van down by the river without my wife making our budget.

I would be wanting that at least the cab mounting locations are solid. The missing inch at the bottom of the cab makes me suspect that the whole floor to cab is not structurally sound. Plus there is quite a bit of wood in those cabs that would likely need replaced to make it somewhat safe

Nothing will make a cab like this “some what safe” best we could hope for is “not falling apa rt while going down the road”

Bottom looks like it needs work to be safe.
